SpaceX Starship explodes after reaching space for the first time

SpaceX launched its Starship rocket, the most powerful to ever fly, for the second time on 18 November, reaching space for the first time. However, after separation, its booster stage exploded rather than returning to Earth in what SpaceX called a “rapid unscheduled disassembly”. Starship continued its journey into space before it was lost in an explosion about 8 minutes after lift-off.
