Bio

Alec Luhn is a journalist focused on climate, conflict and migration whose work has appeared in The Atlantic, the Guardian, National Geographic, The New York Times, Scientific American, TIME, WIRED, CBS News radio and VICE News television. He's reported from a town invaded by polar bears, the only floating nuclear power plant and the coldest permanently inhabited place on Earth. His accolades include a Covering Climate Now award, an Emmy nomination, a Scripps environmental journalism fellowship and a dean’s prize from the University of Wisconsin, his home state.
