Larissa Fedunik

Bio

Larissa Fedunik is a freelance writer and communications professional with broad interests including renewable energy, the physical sciences and history. She has a BEng/BA from the University of Queensland and a PhD in solar chemistry from the University of Newcastle, Australia. After a brief stint in solar research, she switched careers to focus on science journalism and communication. Since 2018 she has written articles for outlets including Australian Geographic, RenewEconomy and New Scientist. Larissa worked for the Australian Academy of Science producing educational articles and videos and she is currently the communications coordinator at the Sydney Mathematical Research Institute. She blogs about science and literature on her Medium page.
