New Scientist recommends Downfall: The case against Boeing

I’ve been watching Downfall: The case against Boeing, a Netflix documentary about problems with Boeing’s 737 Max 8 airliner that led to two crashes, in 2018 and 2019, killing a total of 346 people.

None of which is likely to alleviate new anxieties after the mid-air blowout of a fuselage panel on a Boeing 737 Max 9 last month, leading to loose bolts being found on other Max 9s. In fact, it adds wrath as you learn the full extent of how a trusted and respected company responded to demands…
